Dearbhla Feehan studied Fine Applied Arts in Belfast before returning to her native Dublin to devote herself to painting. She first came to public attention with a series of portraits from life of Graham Knuttel. She subsequently appeared on RTE to speak about Knuttel in the
award winning documentary BLOOD ON THE CANVAS. Her art has been compared to the work of Frida Khalo, Vincent Van Gogh and Georgia OKeefe. |
